Tokenomics

Every generation has a price

Tokenomics is how an AI tool turns your work into a cost. Chat tools count tokens, small pieces of text. Image and video tools like Magnific count credits. Either way, every generation draws from a fixed budget, and every model draws at its own rate.

In AI generation the gaps are huge. Video is charged by the second, higher resolution costs more, and every reroll is charged again. Two models that make a similar clip can be ten times apart in price, and most people only find out when their credits run low.

How a line is priced

Video: credits = seconds × credits per second × rerolls
Images: credits = images × credits per image × rerolls

Thor's World shows it. A 2 minute 37 second short on Premium+ used most of a month's credits. The 42 still frames were free that week, so video was almost the whole bill, and a pricier video model would have tripled it.
